Wrong Answer. · King of Hearts 47.8% The King of Hearts apparently lost his moustache over the years because of production errors, so to speak. Before the factories of the Industrial Revolution, mass production relied on workers’ handiwork. Printing decks of cards involved using wooden blocks that were hand-carved by artisans. Over the centuries, disfiguring happened in the hands of workers who lacked the skills of their predecessors. This changed the design of the different card figures. How many gallons of paint does it take to cover the exterior of the White House? 560 120 80 250 Answer: The White House requires 570 gallons of paint to cover its outside surface. It had been practice from the mid-20th Century to repaint the White House every four years as part of the inaugural ceremonies. However, the progressive build-up of paint had made each successive layer less effective and more difficult to maintain. These days, the White House’s exterior is maintained with touch-ups as necessary. The last major painting of the White House’s exterior was in 1989, after the existing 40-odd layers of paint had been stripped away.
